Story

The Eastwood VKB-4 revives and improves the spirit of the ultra-expensive vintage semi-hollow 4-string basses that collectors chase today. They're nearly impossible to find, and often selling for more than $10,000+ on today’s vintage market See for yourself!

Originally released in 1958, it was a semi-hollow short scale bass featuring a massive "mudbucker" neck pickup. Later in the 60's an updated version added a mini-humbucker in the bridge position.

The VKB-4 massively improves on that model by adding what was missing all along - a good bridge pickup! Here we've enlisted the trusted P-Style Bass pickup and now this is the best of all!

Built at our premier Korean factory, the VKB-4 combines exceptional craftsmanship, premium materials, and professional-grade playability worthy of the originals that inspired it. Featuring a resonant maple top with mahogany back and sides, plus a custom-wound vintage-voiced humbucker carefully tuned to capture the character and response of those sought-after classics, the VKB-4 delivers both authenticity and modern reliability in equal measure.
