NAMM 2020 Tour Diary in Pics & Videos

Eastwood Guitars CEO Mike Robinson & the Eastwood Team visited Anaheim, CA, for the NAMM Show 2020. Here's a quick look at some of the best things we've seen.

    NAMM 2020

The NAMM Show can sometimes feel more like a family gathering than an industry showcase event, as it did at the Rivolta Guitars / Novo Guitars booth at NAMM 2020.

Eastwood Guitars were not showcasing this year, but Mike and the Eastwood Team had to visit the event and drop by at our friends from Rivolta and Novo.

The booth was busy the whole weekend and it was a great opportunity, also, not just to check out the new, hotly-anticipated Rivolta Combinata Bass VII and Rivolta Mondata Baritone VII (which you can pre-order from us NOW) but also check the Mythos Pedals pedalboard being used at the booth, which featured the new RJ Ronquillo signature model, the SUSMARYOSEP! pedal- a slapback delay/ overdrive / booster pedal, which we thought was great:

Our man Gavin McLeod, who's been making some new demos for us recently, has also visited the booth and tried the Rivolta Mondata Baritone VII:

Of course, we didn't just hang at the Rivolta / Novo booth, as tempting as it was with so much amazing gear on display, so here's some of the other highlights from NAMM 2020 which we though would be interesting to share with you... let us know your thoughts and your favourites in the comments:

BeetronixBeetronix always comes up with really beautiful, unique pedals

Death by AudioNYC's Death by Audio pedals are the wet dream for any alt-rock noise maker... are Earthquaker Devices pedals. Hard to pick a favourite. Can you?

Danger ZoneDanger Zone! This pedal looks whack... but lots of fun!

Keeley Synth-1The Keeley Synth-1 is one pedal that everyone must try... really impressive.

Crazy Tube Circuits TimeThe Crazy Tube Circuits Time pedal is one of the best tape-echo pedals we've ever heard. Impressive, and compact.

FoxxWe didn't actually get to hear this compact Foxx Tone Machien reboot... but certainly want to! Looks promising.

Here's some videos we made on the day, with some interesting sounding pedals:

Korg showcased the prototypes for their new Nu:Tekt pedals, featuring miniature tube technology. They certainly sound very retro.

The Greeks keep coming up with the goods - every year, two Athens-based fx pedal brands bring out some interesting pedals to NAMM. In this video you can hear some of Crazy Tube Circuits and JAM Pedals effects in action:

And, of course, no NAMM is complete without a visit to the Electro-Harmonix booth. This year, they showcased the long-awaited Oceans 12 reverb pedal. Since the legendary Holy Grail, Electro-Harmonix have pioneered some seriously good digital reverb pedals, and this new one is no exception... very versatile, too:

It was certainly a long weekend, and as it drew to a close, we were all tired but, of course, ready for more next year...
