Service: 5* Eastwood was very helpful and responsive while ordering that guitar. Setup: 2* The guitar came with a ridiculously low action (1mm at 12th fret). I had to raise the string height and adjust the intonation. Not a big deal but it's something that could have been done properly before shipping. Build Quality: 4* The guitar is very well made. The frets are well dressed and polished, the electronics backplate is countersunk and the woods used for the body and neck show very nice wood grain. I am removing 1 star because the tuning keys (Gotoh!) are misaligned... I had to replace ALL pickguard screws as they were weird looking: they had too large heads and were misaligned. I used Fender screws and the guitar looks much better now. Playability: 4* I would have liked a fatter neck profile. That Mad Cat A. S. has a very slim neck profile. The guitar sounds very good clean and overdriven and the onboarded preamp is VERY efficient. It provides enough grit to push a clean amp into overdrive and works very well with alreadu overdriven sounds. The blend control lets you dial exactly what you need and is very musical on its whole range. I'm not a great fan of out of phase sounds but it's there if you need it. The guitar is a bit heavy (3,6kg) but the onboarded electronics inevitably adds weight. Conclusion: 4* Whether or not you like Andy Summers, that guitar is worth buying if you are looking for a super versatile T-style guitar. The neck profile might not suit everybody but chances are you might swap it for a beefier one. At $1500, it could have come with a case or gigbag.

This is the ultimate Tele (IMO). With the extra gain function, it makes this a total tone machine. Plays exceptionally well, stays in tune and is beautiful. It's a little heavy, but what real Tele isn't? Immediately turned into my #3.
