When you just start playing guitar, there's a lot of things they don't tell you. You can spend more money than necessary taking your instrument into the shop for every string change or minor adjustment. To help keep your money in your pocket, Eastwood's Lincoln Smith has launched a new series of "How To" guides for guitarists of any level.
The S-style tremolo was one of the greatest guitar innovations of the electric guitar's 1950s golden age. Like all good things, though, it does require a bit of maintenance. In this video, Linc walks us through the process of adjusting the tremolo tension for preferred sensitivity and tuning stability.
We hope you found this video fun and helpful! Check out the rest of our videos on the Eastwood YouTube Channel, and catch Linc streaming live on our Instagram account every Friday and 12p Central!
