New for the Eastwood MRG series is the TB-64 Teisco tribute. The original vintage version is proving hard to find these days, so it's time we crank up the Custom Shop Way Back Machine!
Here is a solid body design with the famed "Monkey Grip" cutout. It is a 6-string bass with 30" scale bolt-on maple neck, 21 frets and a replica Teisco Vintage style tremolo system.
The Eastwood TB-64 tribute has a solid 3-ply W/B/W pickguard, three on/off pickup selector switches, a rhythm/solo switch and master volume/tone controls. We've also modified the headstock to match all the new TDR Series models from Eastwood.
Spent along time deciding to buy a Bass IV, originally scoured all the shops in New Zealand and some in the Australia all out of stock, even tried a non specialist music store and it was lost in transit.
With refund in hand and a recording project waiting where the Bass IV would play a starring role, I was now desperate to get my hands on one thats when I discovered Eastwood guitars.
Of course, being such a long way away I was nervous about ordering so I plucked up the courage and ordered the TB64 6-String Bass.
Without question, this has to have been the best online ordering experience I've ever had my shiny new
TB64 6-String Bass arrived on time before Christmas in mint condition and it was so beautifully set up I just plugged in straight into my recording rig no effects and there was that sound immediately!!
My Bass IV has officially been dubbed 'Jolly Green'.
Many thanks John Mason

One great looking, playing, set up from dealer, sounding bass VI guitar. Not to heavy. Easy to play standing or sitting. Great communications about delivery time. Glad to have found this variation. Love the Vintage Mint Green. Named guitar "Grinch". And it's a mean one!(in a good way) way better then any Fender or Squier Bass VI in my eyes. Came with Eastwood git bag but I found Glarry hardshell extra large bass case which it fits in great. Well protected now. Some many different tones from one guitar. Bass and guitar in one. As bass player love this combination. Once again glad this guitar was out there. Pre ordered. Got discount off cost. Quick delivery once it was ready. Like 3 month waiting time which isn't that bad. Came set up and ready to play just a little out of tone. Easy tuned with Bass tuner. E string, A string, D string, G string then use G string tuner to set B string and bottom E string. Worked great. Guitar stays in tune great even with tremolo use. Have played it everyday since it got in my hands.
I have owned the squirer varient of this bass and this one is far better. The fretboard feels so comfortable. The vibrato arm is more of a subtlety on this guitar but a nice touch. It's not too heavy and I wonder if the monkey handle contributes to that. Definitely recommend!

Great overall look and feel. Did need a little set up and came over tuned instead of de tuned. Needed a little quick setup and voila! Fanfreakintastic. You can get any tone you can imagine out of it and the bridge is solid. One tuning peg slips but it isn't a deal killer. It stays in tune once you get there. For the price, you can't go wrong.

This is a really fun guitar to play. Paired with an octave pedal like OC5 or a Pog, it really does give you the full spectrum from the lowest bass notes to the highest guitar notes. My only complaint is that the tremolo is utterly useless, but it still gets five stars because they were obviously going for an accurate recreation of the original. I’d buy this over a Squire bass VI any day.

Hi there, the TB64 is ~ 8.0lbs on average, but varies depending on the particular cut of wood used. The case for the TB64 can be found here. I also recommend our new Premium Gig Bag (Bass Standard)
I have mot paid for my guitar in full just yet, due to it being on back order for quite some time.
It is ready to ship and things have came my way causing me to have to pay it in installments.
I just want to say thanks for working with me to get it paid off!
I cannot wait to get it shipped and play it.
Thanks again for being patient.

The guitars I ended up with are spectacular - Between the Duocata, Mondata Baritone an Hooky Bass 6 Pro I have three absolutely outstanding instruments - They are 'mine,' and they are 'home.' When I pick them up they give me the same thrill as some of my best vintage instruments ever did. And that's saying something for a guy who's been through ~130 guitars since 1975. I may do some pickup/harness swaps, but these are incredibly high quality, wonderful players.
I do miss the SG, and tried out...
