Story

Many 1970’s guitar builders began to experiment with ergonomic designs and active pickups. The Breadwinner is the culmination of this era – most vintage collectors agree that this model is one of the most comfortable guitars ever made. We've been making the six-string version of this guitar for many years now... but we've decided it's time to expand the family!

Featuring 12 strings for fans of all things chime and jangle, the Breadwinner 12 offers the same aesthetic and feel as its 6-string counterpart, but adds a sonic landscape that's as expansive as your imagination. Whether you're strumming chords with shimmering brilliance or picking out intricate melodies, the Breadwinner 12 will be the perfect companion for your musical journey.

What an outstanding guitar! The Eastwood Breadwinner 12 arrived at my house very quickly since I only live a few miles from Nashville. Out of the box the set-up was very good. I could not find any flaws or scratches. It plays easily and stays in tune very well. The mini active humbuckers sound full with lots of 12 string chime. A great purchase!
